It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Hirant Torunyan on January 22, 2023 at the age of 93.

Hirant is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years Araksi Torunyan, loving daughter Beatrice Torunian Buchanan (Andy), son Vahe Torunian (Mary Beth), and adoring grandchildren JT and Alanna. Hirant is predeceased by his older sisters Nivart Ayvatyan of Montreal and Suzan Antilian. He is also survived by his nieces Anahid, Rita and nephews Kevork, Nurhan and Bogos.
